11.04.2013 | 20 years WFF – What’s new?
Hello friends, again 3 bands have agreed to join the birthday party of the year: Heavy trash cult from the Ruhr area by the name of Tom Angelripper & SODOM is rolling in and will fire off the gun salutes for the anniversary. Of course such a band musn’t be missing among the invited guests.***Post hardcore & metalcore in the heaviest way presented by ADEPT, the Swedish dynamite, is also treating your ears. Their latest album „Silence The World“ is crawling in all auditory canals like a virus at the moment and will definitely leave a lasting impression at their live gig as well…Old Swede!***The mates of DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL will shoot their refined British attitude against our stomach walls. Their brew of progressive metal and post hardcore is not easily digestible but very nutritious. Whet your appetite and check out the songs and videos on the net. We are looking forward to this special band!***The band Raised Fist unfortunately had to decline their commitment. They apologize for that and will try to be a part of the 21. WFF. We and the band ask your your understanding. See you soon, Your WFF Team |
13.03.2013 | WFF - Anniversary list is updated!
Hello friends, the huge birthday party of your favourite festival is getting closer and closer, and the last slots are yet to be filled. Here are the candidates who have just confirmed and want to help destroying the birthday cake: The congratulants ALL THAT REMAINS are bringing melodic metalcore from Springfield/Massachusetts with them. For the first time on stage at the Full Force they’re shooting their heavy stuff onto the folk. We are glad that it finally worked!***Headbangers with masks – everyone is thinking of Slipknow. But also in Germany, especially in Franconia, there is a band that sets great value upon their music and is therefore performing completely masked: There is talk of HÄMATOM, the trash metal – and „Neue Deutsche Härte“ –band.
And the band members with the name Nord, Ost, Süd und West have planned to fire you up properly.***He became famous as bassist of the legendary Metallica. In the meantime, Jason Newsted is concentrating on his solo career and he is having a new own band ready: NEWSTED. One more reason for us to invite this very new project to our anniversary.***HC post punk, new school hardcore – whatever you may call it, but the Swedes of RAISED FIST are swinging their heavy racket and only that counts. Also being a guest at the WFF for the first time, the old Swedes are bringing their axe with them to hack the candles on the cake into pieces. No armpits will remain dry.***Unfortunately there are bad news from the house of BARONESS: The band have cancelled all their planned and also already confirmed Europe gigs due to health reasons. They are asking for your understanding.***More news are about to follow as soon as we have them ready for you. Until then, everything you need to know you can find as always on www.withfullforce.de, Your WFF Team |
