Hallo Freunde, das Programm zum Jubiläum ist gebucht und komplett. Zuerst freut es uns, Euch mitteilen zu können, wenn ihr es nicht schon erfahren habt, daß SMOKE BLOW ihren abgebrochenen Auftritt von 2012 nachholen und Euch im Saturday Night Fever ordentlich einheizen werden.***Auf vielfachen Wunsch von Euch haben wir unsere texanischen Freunde von THE BROWNING erneut zum Full Force eingeladen, nachdem sie im letzten Jahr die Samstag Nacht fulminant eröffnet und das ganze Zelt in Bewegung versetzt haben. Trance-Core Ekstase zum 20.***Und noch was zum Abfeiern… aus dem hohen Norden. Die finnischen Folk-Metaller KORPIKLAANI spielen auf und lassen Eure Tanzbeine zucken.***Und die natürlich heißeste Frage, wie jedes Jahr: Wann spielt wer ? wird ebenfalls direkt beantwortet. Also schont Eure Kräfte, es lohnt sich !***Am Mittwoch Abend geht die große Party auf dem Campingplatz schon los. Der Metal Hammer lädt zur Warm Up – Sause, mit DJ Warmaster und Spezial Jubiläumsshirts zur Verlosung! Nicht verpassen, Start ist gegen 20 Uhr ! ***Zum Hochwasser in der Region möchten wir auch noch ein paar weitere Worte verlieren. Was da in den letzten Wochen passiert ist, ist wirklich bitter für viele Betroffene in der Region, die uns immer ein guter Gastgeber waren. Wir werden auf dem diesjährigen Festival auf jeden Fall Spenden sammeln und diese sinnvollen Projekten der unmittelbaren WFF Nachbarschaft zuführen. Und wir sind uns sicher, ihr unterstützt da kräftig! Glücklicherweise war und ist unser Gelände von der Flut überhaupt nicht betroffen - einer normalen Durchführung steht also nichts im Wege. Ob es Einschränkungen bei der Anreise gibt, bedingt durch Straßenschäden in Sachsen Anhalt, teilen wir Euch rechtzeitig mit. Hi friends, we`re pleased to announce the next bands. But first the bad news. THE ACACIA STRAIN cancelled all shows in Europe – even the WFF gig.*** A wish of yours – now confirmed: BREAKDOWN OF SANITY – Metalcore from Switzerland will rock the Hardbowl stage. Another KNUPPELNACHT band confirmed – Gaahl and his infernal GOD SEED. Also confirmed: Peter Tägtgren – Death Metal Superstar will rock our stage with his band PAIN! And you`re waiting for the last headliner? Jonathan Davis, Fieldy, Ray, Head and Munky will be guests at WFF. KORN - the founders of Nu Metal from Bakersfield will play the 20th anniversary of WFF on Sunday – conserve your energy for this final! And at least a final IMPORTANT info: Based on the enormous demand on tickets and your mails we decided to open the camping area on Wednesday at 3:00 pm instead of 22:00 pm. Hello friends, again 3 bands have agreed to join the birthday party of the year: Heavy trash cult from the Ruhr area by the name of Tom Angelripper & SODOM is rolling in and will fire off the gun salutes for the anniversary. Of course such a band musn’t be missing among the invited guests.***Post hardcore & metalcore in the heaviest way presented by ADEPT, the Swedish dynamite, is also treating your ears. Their latest album „Silence The World“ is crawling in all auditory canals like a virus at the moment and will definitely leave a lasting impression at their live gig as well…Old Swede!***The mates of DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL will shoot their refined British attitude against our stomach walls. Their brew of progressive metal and post hardcore is not easily digestible but very nutritious. Whet your appetite and check out the songs and videos on the net. We are looking forward to this special band!***The band Raised Fist unfortunately had to decline their commitment. They apologize for that and will try to be a part of the 21. WFF.
